The B5Media network:

"T"heme Day

T This month, the theme of the Travel & Culture Channel is the letter “T”.  Check out a few or all of them at the b5media homepage

They include:

  • Jul’s favorite “T” destinations across the big pond at Europe String.
  • Grace does a round-up of a couple years of blogging Filipina Soul.
  • Mary Jo at Flyaway Cafe, shows us some great photos of Trevi Fountain.
  • Ruth, at Let’s Visit Asia, tells us about the Tarsier, the world’s smallest primate (with really big eyes).
  • At the always political Sirened, the “T’ theme translates to TV’s Talking Heads.
  • J-Michael at the local Starked DC, covers the “T” theme in his unique way.
  • Tasty hotdogs is a subject you might expect from The Chicago Traveler, but Claudine at The Atlanta Traveler tells us about the world’s largest drive-in restaurant and her favorite home town dog.Chicago Skyline
  • Speaking of The Chicago Traveler, Matt takes the “T” theme to encompass lots of Windy City favorites, from tapas to Top Chef.
  • The Denver Traveler’s Shawn Marie blogs about a couple of fun Colorado towns - Telluride and Trinidad.
  • Susan at The Disney Traveler, tells us about the former Monkees front man, Davy Jones, who performed at The Black Cat in Washington, DC in March.
  • At The Hawaii Traveler, Jody provides a source for Hawaii Travel News.
  • Che covers a heated local political issue at The Kuala Lumpur Traveler.
  • Heather gives Viva Las Vegas travelers some great taxi tips, at The Las Vegas Adventurer.  Sounds as if she could come to DC and tell us how to avoid some taxi rip off….no, wait, we just got meters in our cabs.
  • The quintessential British “T” is of course Teapots at The London Traveler
  • Heather who blogs The New York City Traveler, uses T for Transportation, with great info on getting around the Big Apple. So do I take the “N” or the “R” to get to Wall Street?
  • Strikes and protests are the “T” The Eiffel Tower in Paris at dusk.theme with Takin’ it to the Streets at The Paris Traveler. But Kim, I thought DC was Protest Central.
  • MJ at The Seattle Traveler, give us the full alphabet in Seattle A to Z.
  • At The South Florida Traveler, “T” is for Taste, as Katherine covers a baker’s dozen of great place to dine.
  • Down under at The Sydney Traveler, Lauren gives us T for Tea.
  • At The Tokyo Traveler, Shane’s “T” is for the circular Yamanote Train in Tokyo.
  • And finally, at The Toronto Traveler, Justin covers some favorites around Toronto.

And if you missed my “T” post, check out the “T”reasures of Afghanistan now showing at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.
