Thank a Veteran Today

Memorial Day is the one day each year we honor the sacrifices of American soldiers who fought and died protecting our freedom.

It is a special day to thank all the servicemen and servicewomen for their service to their country.

So to every veteran who served their country proudly…Thank you.

I get very choked up when I think of all the soldiers who have marched off to war on my behalf. Whether they returned home safely, returned bearing the wounds of war, or were killed in action, they have my eternal gratitude. For those of us at home, who bask in the freedom provided by these brave soldiers, it is our duty to live our lives to the highest standard, and foster an America that the departed would have been proud of.
