Visit the Land of King Henry VIII

Visit the 16th century English village of Revel Grove, at the Maryland Renaissance Festival.  There you’ll find food vendors, crafts, five pubs, ten major stages, a jousting arena and lots of fun and games.

The highlights include an authentic full armor jousting competition, music and singers, jugglers, magicians, and the ever present pretty wenches.

Shops and crafters will be on hand to sell original works of art, stained glass, sculptures, jewelry, pottery, wood and leather-work, clothing, as well as  glass-blowing and other artists working on their craft.

Also enjoy classic faire foods such as a smoked turkey leg, steak-on-a-stake, meat pies, sweet desserts and more.

For the kids there’s free pony rides, a kid’s activities area and a maze.

You can even rent a costume on site to help you get into the spirit of things.
