The New African Films Festival – Dec. 7-11
The 3rd annual New African Films Festival will showcase ten African films from around the African continent.
The film subjects range from love, politics and war, to apartheid and even a retelling of the classic fairy tale The Emperor’s New Clothes.
One notable film should be Indigenes (Days of Glory), a 2006 Cannes Festival winner for ensemble cast and best actor. It is about the experiences of four African soldiers as they fight on the side of France against the Germans during World War II.
