From the Revolutionary War to Iraq, the National Museum of the Marine Corps displays over 1,000 artifacts and memorabilia of the Marine Corps and their proud history.   With close to 120,00 feet of exhibit space visitors can explore some of the major battles where the Marines earned their reputation – Iwo Jima and the flag raising at Mount Suribachi, Hill 881 South at Khe Sanh in Vietnam and Toktong Pass in Korea.  Located 36 miles south of Washington, D.C., the museum sits just off the grounds of Marine Corps Base Quantico.
