Grab your pork-chop sideburns and blue suede shoes and head to Dr. Dremo’s bar and pool hall in suburban Arlington, VA for it’s annual Elvis Presley birthday bash celebration -  A Night of 101 Elvises.

The jailhouse rockin’ evening will feature an Elvis costume contest with a $100 first prize, performances by impersonators of “The King” and Elvis karaoke.  

Elvis, once called “a danger to American culture”, had 17 number one hits, only The Beatles had more at 20.

“The King” would have been 71 years old this year.

Nearest Metro subway station – Court House station – Orange line, then a two block walk.

Dr. Dremo’s was rated by the Washington Post as one of DC’s top 5 neighborhood bars, happy hours and pool halls.  But don’t expect the Ritz.  This casual bar / pool hall is a bit grungy.  But with over 25 beers on tap, you should be able to have a good time.
