Disney’s movie the Lion King was a mega-blockbuster. And now you can watch the live musical recreation version on stage in Washington, DC.
With Oscar-winning music by Elton John and Tim Rice, the birds, giraffes, gazelles and lions from the original movie are brought to life on stage by more than 40 actors. 
The Lion King tells the story of the Lion King on the Savannah of Africa.  The young lion cub, Prince Simba, is convinced by his wicked uncle,  that the young cub accidentally killed his father.
