Garofalo has had roles in over 50 movies, some small, others larger. One role, in the movie The Truth About Cats & Dogs, won her some critical acclaim playing the ugly duckling radio host veterinarian, staring with Uma Thurman. 

She’s also had guest spots on many television shows, including the recent landing of a huge part as a regular on the 7th season of the Fox Television hit, 24, with Kiefer Sutherland. Garofalo seems to have perfected her image as a modern day counterculture anti-heroine, who plays her blatant insecurities and unique perspective on life for all their worth.

Expect topics such as global warming, the dreaded Republicans, the presidential election and Iraq to be a focus of her stand-up routine.  And I wonder, what will she talk about if a Democrat wins the White House next year?
