So what month is better to celebrate food, dining, and cooking than June with a blogger&#8217;s Theme Day?

<p>So what month is better to celebrate food, dining, and cooking than June with a blogger&#8217;s Theme Day? <img style="width: 181px; height: 260px;" src="http://www.thedctraveler.com/files/2007/06/260648702-e1b193b53f.jpg" alt="260648702 e1b193b53f" width="181" height="260" align="right" /></p>
<p>Here are some of the &#8220;food&#8221; entries by my fellow b5media Travel and Culture bloggers:</p>
<ul>
<li>Melissa at <a title="Europe String - Dining Alfresco" href="http://www.europestring.com/dining-alfresco/" target="_blank"><strong>Europe String</strong></a> tells us about Dining Alfresco in Europe. There is nothing like enjoying a relaxing dinner outdoors or just a glass of wine at a sidewalk cafe and watching the world go by.</li>
<li>Lynn at <a title="The Paris Traveler - Local Food Emporiums" href="http://www.theparistraveler.com/top-places-to-food-shop-in-paris" target="_blank"><strong>The Paris Traveler</strong></a> explores some of the more interesting food emporiums in the City of Lights. Just the photos alone made me hungry.</li>
<li>Matt at <a title="The Chicago Traveler - Great Breakfast Places" href="http://www.thechicagotraveler.com/champions-of-breakfast/" target="_blank"><strong>The Chicago Traveler</strong></a> makes us hungry with his report on champions of breakfast in Chicago.</li>
<li>Mary Jo at <a title="The Seattle Traveler - Fast Food" href="http://www.theseattletraveler.com/find-seattles-best-fast-food-burger-at-dicks/" target="_blank"><strong>The Seattle Traveler</strong></a> enlightens us on the Seattle institution &#8211; Dick&#8217;s for burgers. Yum!!</li>
<li>She also writes about getting reservations (impossible, unless you know someone) at Rao&#8217;s in Harlem at <a title="Fly Away Cafe - Eat at Raos" href="http://www.flyawaycafe.com/eat-at-raos-if-you-can/" target="_blank"><strong>Fly Away Cafe</strong></a>.</li>
<li>Alex at <a href="http://www.sirened.com/not-much-cash-for-food-in-the-us-no-problem" target="_blank"><strong>Sirened</strong></a> gives us a look at the economics of food and healthy eating, and challenges us to think about what and how we&#8217;d eat for $3 a day.</li>
<li>And finally, giving <a title="The DC Traveler - Ice Cream" href="http://www.thedctraveler.com/ice-cream-brain-freeze/" target="_blank"><strong>The DC Traveler</strong></a> a plug, my contribution is about some of the great ice cream parlors in the Washington, DC area.</li>
<li>And in a late addition, Grace from <a title="Filipina Soul" href="http://www.filipinasoul.com/the-proper-way-of-eating-balut-fertilized-duck-eggs/" target="_blank"><strong>Filipina Soul </strong></a>tells us about eating a &#8220;special&#8221; local delicacy &#8211; duck eggs, but DEFINITELY not the way most of us eat a typical egg. (Warning- there is a huge potential &#8220;gross factor&#8221;.)  Not sure I agree that it&#8217;s like eating tempura sushi rolls, and I will normally try just about anything.</li>
</ul>
