“Ballot 4 Beer“, what’s being called the biggest roaming election night party in Washington, DC, lets you cheer on your candidate to victory or drown your sorrows when your candidate throws in the towel.  
The roving party will be held at four different bars and restaurants in the heart of Washington’s political scene – Capital Hill.

It’s a block party…no, it’s  Octoberfest, no…it’s Blocktoberfest.
With 51 bands on ten stages, and enough food and beer, carnival rides, strolling entertainers and kids games to fill RFK Stadium, this year’s Blocktoberfest will have something for everyone.
 
The Family Fun Zone will feature clowns, jugglers and kid-friendly entertainment.
Two of the scheduled bands include the Gin Blossoms and the Violent Femmes (that is if the band survives the recent lawsuit filed by one of its members just a couple months ago), plus a couple Oompah-pah bands for all you polka dancers.
