Spring Flowers Exploding in DC

by Jon on May 1st, 2007

This past weekend, the weather was gorgeous in Washington, DC and I took a long bike ride around the Mall. With all the flowers in bloom, my ride was inturrupted with regular Spring “photo ops”.

These photographs were taken at the tulip beds next to the Iwo Jima Memorial (actually in front of the Netherlands Carillon) and at the gardens surrounding the U.S. Botanical Gardens Conservatory and the Smithsonian Castle.
