Shoot Some Pool…Retro Hip-Style

by Jon on February 25th, 2007

Four uniquely-themed hip and retro seating areas and the opportunity to shoot some pool make the Continental Bar and Billiards a retro-hip blast from the past.  Lounge on classic 1960’s chrome and vinyl furniture, relax in a high-tech space-age seating arrangements straight out of George Jetson’s home or hang in the Tiki room straight out of 1950s suburbia. Continential 2

With two full bars, nine pool tables and a raised dining room that offers appetizers, salads and sandwiches (nothing on the menu is over $10), you can make an evening of cocktails, casual dining and shoot some pool.

Continental has a daily happy hour, food and drink specials during the week and Tuesdays is ladies night with free pool for women. Pool tables are rented by the hour, with costs varying based on time of day. The casually-dressed crowd is mostly in their 20s and 30s.

Continental Bar and Billiards is located just across the Key Bridge from Georgetown.
