Scottish Heritage Day - Nov. 25th

by Jon on November 22nd, 2006

Washington DC - Scottish kilt and feet photoIf James Bond were in Washington, DC this week, he might take a break from tracking down master criminals who are bent on taking over the world to visit his Scottish roots at the Scottish Preview.

In suburban historic Old Town Alexandria, this one-day Scottish heritage festival celebrates all things Scottish.

The programs includes traditional bagpipes, highland and celtic dancers, musket and sword reenactors, Scottish food and drink and the ever favorite Scottish Westie dogs.

So don your kilt, salute William Wallace and perhaps you’ll see James Bond breaking from his martini tradition by having a glass of Scottish single malt scotch.
