Now This is a Block Party!

by Jon on September 4th, 2007

When your neighbors get together and throw a block party, it can be fun. When Adams Morgan throws one, it’s a two-stage music, ethnic food, dance, crafts, cultural and people watching extravaganza.

There’s also lots of events and activities for the kids.

A couple years ago while I was walking around the festival, I bumped (literally) into DC mayor Anthony Williams and had a brief chat with him.  So look for some local dignitaries to be in attendance.
