NASCAR Racing - Sept. 30th
“What do you know about stock car racing? Well… watched it on television, of course.” That’s a line from the Tom Cruise movie Days of Thunder. And here’s your chance to see live NASCAR close to DC.
The Martinsville Speedway racetrack is the shortest track on the NASCAR Nextel Cup circuit. At just over a half mile in length, it’s been described as a couple drag strips with U-turns at each end.
But a short track makes for some typical NASCAR-style bumpin’ and rubbin’.
Martinsville is a family-friendly track, with good views from all the grandstand seats.
