2 opinions for Miss India DC

The 14th Miss India DC pageant was on September 6th, 2008.
Over all good experience but we are wondering what was it representing? India, Bollywood, the judges, the sponsors or the makers of the production! Certainly it did not represent India at all. It should have kept Indian culture and ethnicity but certainly not! We are wondering that the quality was sustained by the invited groups of performers but not by contestants (except 1 or 2) of Miss India DC pageant!! It is matter of humiliation, awkwardness and not pride! For India and its name, it needs enhancement of quality, grace, elegance, exquisiteness and nobleness.

    Thanks.
    Love,
A well Wisher and Indian lover.

what do you mean by representing it? what were they suppose to do??? they wore indian clothesa nd all the contestant’s talent performances were from bollywood which is known all AROUND THE WORLD AS INDIAN CINEMA! all the contestant were good, in fact, in opinion OUTSTANDING, just not 1 and 2. and instead of just saying make it a better representation of india tell the director how she can make it better, give her/him ideas.
