by Jon on December 28th, 2006

The period between Thanksgiving and the New Year is the most dangerous and deadliest time for motorists, due to drunk driving accidents.

But if you have a bit too much holiday cheer, you and your friends can get home safely by taking advantage of the Holiday SoberRide Program through January 1st.

Would-be or impaired drivers can call for a free cab to take them home, up to a $50 fare, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. each evening.  Riders are responsible for fares exceeding $50.Fairfax Co. Police photo
