Happy Festival of Lights, to all who celebrate.

Rose Window in the Synagogue at 6th & I - Scott Ableman

This image is from the rose window at the The Historic Adas Israel Synagogue (now called the The Sixth & I Historic Synagogue) at 600 I Street, NW, in Washington DC’s Chinatown. The building was dedicated in 1906 and later converted to a Methodist Episcopal church in 1951. In 2002, it was re-acquired, and in 2004 it re-dedicated for the Jewish community as the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue.

The image by Scott Ableman.
