An Interesting Version of The Who’s “My Generation”
In February on The DC Traveler, I wrote a post about the classic rock band, The Who, coming to DC for a performance in March.
I just found this fun video of The Who’s My Generation, performed by an “interesting” cover band called The Zimmers and though I’d share it with you.
They are reportedly the oldest performing rock cover band in the world, with an average age of… 78. The lead singer is 90, but the senior member is 100 years old. The track was recorded at the famous Beatles Studio 2 at Abbey Road.
Thier single is being released next week on MySpace with proceeds going to charity.
Enjoy.
