by Jon on September 30th, 2007

Over 38 million people worldwide live with HIV/AIDS, including an estimated 25,000 adults in DC.

Aids Walk

Here’s a chance to support a great DC cause, the non-profit Whitman-Walker Clinic, a DC-based health organization that provides health care to those infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

The event includes a fundraising 5K walk and run, pre-event speeches, and the announcement of winners of the poster and essay contest for students.  Aidswalk 2005
