I remember my father talking about traveling in the deep South in the late 1940s, and being from the North, he was shocked to see the "separate but equal" water fountains, white only hotels and the other impacts of Jim Crow. This is just awesome! I plan to be in the frey with my young adult children. I have no tolerance for the kind of cold weather expected on Jan. 20th, but, that will not stop me. I am not sure I have the stamina for the walking, standing on my feet for hours nor the crowds. I plead temporary insanity.
