New Concourse at Dulles

Dules - Flickr - MommarooOn Tuesday, a new concourse opened at Dulles airport, adding another 15 gates to the “B” terminal, bringing the total number of gates at the airport to 128.

Dulles serves over 20 million passengers annually over 120 destinations.  Over over 30 domestic and international airlines fly in and out of Dulles. Additionally, the airport annually handles 27 million pounds of mail and over 400 million pounds of cargo.

The expansion opens additional gates for JetBlue, Virgin America, and AirTran.  Delta and American are scheduled to also use some of the new gates.

One of DC’s favorite burger outlets, Five Guys, will open the new concourse, along with other dining and shopping concessions.
