Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend

Looking for a few ideas for that perfect holiday gift for someone special?

Try a trip with your special woman to the Harry Winston Gallery in the Hall of Gems, at the Museum of Natural History in DC. And watch her reaction.  You might learn exactly what she might might like, in a non-threatening environment, like at the jewelry store.  And more importantly, you might learn what she doesn’t like.

Or are you looking for a gentle (or perhaps not so gentle) way to drop a hint or two about what’s on your holiday wish list?  Take your guy and casually (or not so casually) plant a few clues.

Sapphires are always nice…

Or perhaps a few emeralds, diamonds or rubies.

Or when in doubt, a tiara can be worn with just about anything, at least this season.

And if in doubt, The Hope Diamond is always nice…especially if you can get one for a fraction of its value, estimated at around $250 million.
