A Night of Foot Stompin’ Bluegrass at DAR

With over 10 CDs in her calalog, Alison song, “Down to the River to Pray” was featured in the Movie “Oh Brother Where art Thou”. Other songs by her have been featured in several feature flms including Twister, Mona Lisa Smile, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Bambi II and Cold Mountain.

Tony Rice has recrded over 40 traditional and jazz-infused acoustic folk albums since the 1970s. And Jerry Douglas has a dozen Grammys under his bluegrass belt for his dobro performances on seven Alison Krauss albums and five others.

Nearest Metro subway station – Farragut West – Orange and Blue lines or Faragut North – Red line, then a 10-15 minute walk.

Parking – Limited metered street parking is available, but often tough to find. There are a couple area lots around Pennsylvania Ave. around 17th and 18th Streets.
